March 2011

We have acquired 4  new trail cameras...

September 2010 -

One camera has disappeared (The one that used to be on the Phantom's trail). We brought the other camera up from the Fly Camp to put near his trail. He chewed that one too a while ago,  now only daytime photos are possible.

August 2010 -

Judging from the tracks it appears that The Phantom has again attacked and has destroyed or made off with Trail Camera 2 ....

June 2010 -

Trail Camera 2

May 2010 -

Trail Camera 1

Elephant             Bushbuck                  Side Striped Jackal             Camp Dawn

Trail Camera 2 - The camera was chewed by The Phantom and his lioness friend on night (the camera only captured the lion's ear during this incident). The camera is still operational during the day, but no longer works at night.

Apr 2010 -

We have two Bushnel Trail Cameras (You fasten them to a tree & they photograph whatever moves) which will record some of the activity especially at night.

One has been placed in front of the camp and the other is on a trail in the bush. The cameras may be moved periodically, but significant pictures will be posted here.
