A Professor, Bill Bates, from the University of British Columbia has
introduced to us the idea of making Spectrographs of lion roars. This
will allow us to recognize individual lions by their roars! Initially we
will send him roars by e-mail in order to do the spectrography until we
learn how to do it using the Raven computer programme from Cornell
University.
